1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the website and services provided by The Travelling Dog Trainer. By accessing the site, creating an account, booking a session or purchasing a course, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

You must have the legal authority to enter into these terms. If you are using the site on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are an individual, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or are using the site with the consent of a parent or guardian.

2. About our services

Services booked and paid for through this website are live online (video) training workshops and classes, and self-paced online courses. Services are delivered by a qualified, force-free trainer. Training outcomes depend on many factors, including your dog's health, age, history, and your participation in recommended exercises. We cannot guarantee specific results.

In-person one-to-one training is also available. It is arranged directly with us by email, including the location, timings and price, and is not booked or paid for through this website.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Please notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site or services. This includes, but is not limited to, using the site for any unlawful purpose, fraud, spam, harassment, posting harmful content, infringing intellectual property rights, interfering with security or functionality, scraping, reverse engineering, or attempting to gain unauthorised access to systems or other users' accounts.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, create a security risk, or engage in fraudulent or abusive behaviour.

5. Payments

Payments for sessions and courses are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers. Prices are shown in GBP and include any applicable taxes, which are calculated and collected at checkout.

By completing a purchase you agree to pay the price shown at checkout for the selected session or course. A booking is only confirmed once payment has been received. For cancellations and refunds, please see our refund policy.

6. Who you are buying from

You are buying directly from The Travelling Dog Trainer. All customer service inquiries relating to orders, sessions, courses, cancellations and refunds are handled by us — contact us through the contact page and we will be happy to help.

7. Booking and cancellations

When you book a session, you are purchasing the selected live online service, date and time shown at checkout. You will receive a booking confirmation by email. For live video sessions, you are responsible for a suitable device and a stable internet connection. We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule a session where dog behaviour or other circumstances raise safety concerns.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the site, including text, images, videos, course materials, branding, logos and software, is owned by or licensed to The Travelling Dog Trainer and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, modify or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

When you purchase a course, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access that course for personal use. You may not share your login details or course materials with others.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep the site and services available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may carry out maintenance or updates that affect availability. We are not liable for any temporary inability to access the site or services.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Travelling Dog Trainer excludes liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill or business interruption. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. All training advice is provided for general guidance and does not replace veterinary or professional behaviourist advice where needed.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify The Travelling Dog Trainer for any claims, losses or damages arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or content you submit to us.

12. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
